Oak View is a prestigious single-family residence community in the southern region of Coto de Caza, California. Residents enjoy many amenities, and are in close proximity to many recreational facilities.
Oak View was built by Toll Brothers and features houses with five bedrooms and living space that ranges from 3,900 to 5,650 square feet. Quality education is provided by several private schools in the area including the Serra Catholic Schools and St. John’s Episcopal School. Oak View is also served by the top rated Capistrano Unified School District. Students attend Wagon Wheel Elementary School, Las Flores Middle School, and Tesoro High School. Saddleback College is only a few moments away and there are many other colleges within an hour’s drive.
There are many recreational opportunities in Coto de Caza with its many parks and trails. The Thomas F. Riley Wilderness Park offers 530 acres of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails. It also has an educational center which informs students and visitors of its efforts to preserve native plants and animals. For the athletes the Coto Sports Park has four sports fields, two basketball courts, a volleyball court, tot lot, playground, and picnic area. Many AYSO soccer matches are held here.
And for the golfer the well known Coto de Casa Golf & Racquet Club offers ten courts and two Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed golf courses. This club has a fitness center, aquatic center, and dining facilities. Golf, tennis, and social memberships are available. There is also the older Coto Valley Community Club which offers racquetball, tennis, and skating hockey rinks as well as a fitness club and swimming pool.
Coto de Caza is one of Orange County’s oldest private planned communities and covers around 5,000 acres of property. It is conveniently located about 25 minutes from the Orange County Airport. Neighbors include Dove Canyon, Wagon Wheel Canyon, Rancho Cielo, and Rancho Santa Margarita.
